Novel Ideas

Each month, “Novel Ideas”  appears in The Washington Missourian, a twice-weekly newspaper serving Washington, MO., and surrounding communities.

The mission of “Novel Ideas”  is to spread the word on captivating books for adults—fiction and non-fiction alike.

With review copies provided by publishing houses, three books for The Missourian’s “book suggestion” column are chosen each month.

Bearing in mind that readers are constantly on the lookout for quality books, and that there is far too much criticism in the world already, “Novel Ideas” seeks to spread the word on books readers might enjoy. A wide range of subjects and voices are included.

Two special “Novel Ideas”  features appear annually. In June, guest reviewers read and write about the books.

In December, a gift round-up of “Novel Ideas” books are suggested for readers of all ages.

Ongoing since June 2002, “Novel Ideas” can be viewed online at www.emissourian.com.
